Give thanks to the Lord that my friend, Lynn prayed to accept the Lord Jesus as her own Saviour about two weeks ago. She was one of my classmates in evening school a year ago. I understand that the love of God’s family and the testimonies of sisters will help my friend to believe in the Lord. However, she is not able to come to Sunday meetings as she has to work on weekends. So I asked sisters to pray for her and to arrange dinner gathering with her and her husband. We have built good relationship with the couples in the first gathering.
I kept contact with Lynn and found that she tried to pray to the Lord when she was in need. It encouraged us to invite her for dinner again and to preach the gospel to her. During the dinner, we had appropriate topics which led in the testimonies and gospel. We asked her directly if she want to believe in the Lord. When she answered she was willing to believe in the Lord and prayed with us. We were overwhelmed with joy.
I realize that the teamwork of our group is of the utmost importance of this experience of preaching the gospel. When we prayed together, the Lord really answered our prayers according to His promises.

I thank the Lord that He has saved Lynn! I appreciate Stephanie’s persistence in trying to arrange dinner and contacts with Lynn and her husband. Good planning and arrangement was also essential in this preaching. When Lynn said she was willing to accept Jesus’ salvation, I saw the most beautiful smile from Stephanie. When Lynn followed the prayer of acceptance, I heard the most beautiful voice ringing in my ears. Our group is so happy that we have new believers! Moreover, the Lord has opened a way for Lynn to join Sunday meetings in August. She will be able to meet other family members and grow together. Yay!
