The Lord has kept His promise – Frankie Hung

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20, NKJV)

We had morning draw near to God team gatherings from Monday to Saturday throughout this year’s summer day camp. We had worshiping time together in every team gathering. I gain a lots every time when I join the worshiping time together. Even though the topic of our worship is nothing new, we even repeat the same topic sometimes, but every time there is new insight or newness of depth. I find it is not the knowledge that makes me feel anew, but the Lord’s special presence. It is a fellowship with Him, and because the Lord is living, therefore every time is fresh. The words and ideas I got from Him is fresh.

I remember there was a time we shout for joy for His commission toward us(that we can have part in this glorious marathon). At the end of the worshiping time, I was touched that God’s commission will be accomplished and He will be there cheering for us and welcoming us at the finishing line. That is not new, but at that moment, my heart was filled with great joy when I saw the hope ahead, that is when God’s will is accomplish, how joyful is that moment for God and me.

I really experience the benefits when we come and worship together. I was always inspire by other’s prayers and response, and much more, is God’s special presence. That make every worship time special and very fulfilling for my spirit.
