After one of the Saturday trainings, I was determined to make the decision to sing the two “diamond songs” (Who Affects the Father the Most” and “Love Like a Rainbow”) during the week on most days. This time, I chose part of the song to sing each time. After singing that particular part that I chose, I would respond by prayers. Focusing on one part of the song saved me from debating on which part of the song touched me the most, as the songs are very rich in content. Singing only part of the song helped me to enjoy more.
I realized that when I’m drawing near to God, it is not a rule to sing the whole song–something that I used to do before. When I am set free and sing songs from what is in my heart to respond to the Lord, I can be most satisfied.
