Our Belief & Commission

Below is the summary of our belief.

The Matchless Book

We believe every word of the Bible is faultless. It is God’s inspiration, the word of God. We count on the Bible as the principle of our belief and the way to walk out the truths.

We earnestly love the Bible and take it as our treasure. Through the teaching of the Holy Spirit, we understand from the Bible God Himself and His purpose. We also feed on His word. Moreover, God speaks to us through the Bible, causing our spirit to be lively and to have deep fellowship with Him, becoming His close friend.

The Glorious God

The God whom we believe is a Person, who is the infinite Spirit. He has no beginning and no end, He self-exists and lives forever.

God is the Creator of the universe and all things in it. He is also the preserver, the ruler and the overseer.

He is omnipresent, omniscient, all-loving, almighty and all-wise. He is the fountain of all blessings and beauty. He is our strength, our portion and our rest.

He is the Trinity God: the Father is God; the Son is God; the Holy Spirit is God. They are of equal deity, equal rank and glory. They exist from eternity to eternity. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are different, but They are One, who is inseparable.

The Valuable Man

God created man in His own image, so that man can have fellowship with Him, be like Him, be of the same heart with Him and work with Him. In addition, He desires man to have the deepest relationship with Him. Therefore, among God’s creation, man is the most honoured, having great value and potential.

In the eternal plan and purpose of God, man is the focus of His work.

Among all creations, only man has both spirit and body.

The Fall of Man and His Need

God gave man his intellectual, affection, conscience and will. However, man misused his freedom and sinned.

We believe that all have sinned and are separated from God. In this life, men are in vanity, suffering, darkness and ruin. In future, men have to face death, judgement and eternal punishment.

As a result, everyone is in great need of the Lord Jesus’ glorious salvation.

The Most Precious Christ

God loves men deeply. To save men and accomplish His glorious purpose on them, He sent His beloved Son, born by the virgin Mary, who conceived Him through the Holy Spirit. His name is Jesus. Once He was born, He is forever God and Man at the same time. He has complete and unmingled Godhead and manhood in Him. However, these two are inseparable but are united in one Person—Christ. He is the only Mediator between God and man.

For His whole life on earth, Christ declared the Father. He is perfect without blemish, in whom God is well pleased.

The Lord Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us. He indeed suffered on the cross, shed His blood and bore the punishment. He was also forsaken by God and died for us. He bore all our sins. We are truly thankful to His abundant grace! In fact, we will thank Him forever!

Christ was buried after His death.

However, on the third day, He arose from the dead! His body did not see corruption but became glorious. Hallelujah! He has overcome death and brought us endless hope!

Furthermore, He ascended to heaven, seated at the right of God and heads over all things for the church. In glory He lives for us, making intersection for us. He is preparing a better home for us!

The Lord Jesus will surely come back. In fact, He is coming quickly. He will take His saints to meet Him in the clouds and to be with Him forever. Then, in heaven, there will be rewards presentation and the marriage supper of the Lamb. Wow! Our joy will be overflowing!

Afterwards, the Lord Jesus will come in the clouds with might and glory, descend and end the world war. He will judge those who are living and establish His glorious, jubilant and peaceful Millennium. Sharing His joy and glory, we will reign with the Lord.

Finally, He will execute His judgement on the Great White Throne. At that time, the dead will rise and be judged. All those who have sinned and whose names are not in the book of life will be imprisoned in the lake of fire burning with brimstone. There, they will receive the due reward of their deeds. Thus, all wicked people and sinned angels will forever be imprisoned in hell. No more can they ruin the eternal blessedness of the universe.

God has prepared the new heaven and new earth for us. The most beautiful holy city will descend, and God’s tabernacle will be with men. We will reign with the Lord forever and ever!

Our love life with Him will have no end! God’s glorious plan will progress continuously!

The Work of the Holy Spirit

When Christ ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit was sent. In Pentecost, the Lord poured down the Holy Spirit on the disciples. At that time, the Lord baptized them with the Holy Spirit. They received power from above and bore witnesses to the Lord.

The Holy Spirit has come. He testifies Christ and works in men, convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement, so that the world will turn to Christ.

The Holy Spirit causes believers to be born again. They are baptized with the Holy Spirit into one body, being united together. The Holy Spirit lives in their hearts forever, to be their Comforter and their ready Helper. He also guides them into the truth and the unsearchable riches of Christ. He causes believers to grow in spirit. The focus of the work of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord, to raise up and build the churches after the Lord’s hearts in the whole world.

The Journey Home

The Lord Jesus is the only Mediator between God and men. He is the only way to go back to the Father, and He alone can save us.

We are saved by grace through faith, not by our own good deeds. By Christ Jesus’ redemption, our sins are forgiven and we are justified.

Being justified by faith, we do not perish but have everlasting life.

Such faith we have is more than knowledge; we believe in our hearts (Rom. 10:9-10).

Therefore, such faith is a faith that “receives” Christ. Just as the Bible says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

When we have faith, we also rely on Christ. We rely on His redemption: He died for our sins so that our sins can be forgiven, and that we can rid our sinful life (Acts 13:39, Matt. 1:21).

Such faith to God makes one experience being born again by the Holy Spirit. It enables him to have life and Christ’s indwelling. It also causes him to change from within. This faith brings forth love; it changes one from inside out (Gal. 5:6, Acts 15:9).

The Beautiful Heavenly Home

The church is not a building or an organization; it is the assembly of a group of people called by God from the world. The Holy Spirit united these born-again people into one body of Christ. They are united to one another and to God. These people manifested themselves as churches in various places of the world.

The church is the core of God’s purpose in His eternal plan. It is God’s greatest treasure.

The Bible describes the church with different names to illustrate her quality, preciousness and glory.

The church is the field which God cultivates, and she is the house that He builds.

The church is the pillar and foundation of the truth, the golden lampstand.

The church is God’s kingdom and army.

The church is a chosen race, a royal priesthood and God’s people.

The church is the flock of the Lord.

The church is a new man.

The church is the body of Christ.

The church is God’s temple, a spiritual house and a dwelling place.

The church is so precious! It is also the Bride of Christ and the house of the living God!

We are members of the household of God, having the deepest and eternal relationship with God as well as brothers and sisters.

We must love one another with the deepest love and be deeply rooted in God’s family.

The Foci of a Believer’s Life

1. Faith

After we believed and are justified by faith, we must continue to live by faith in God (Gal. 2:20). Through God’s word, the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment and teaching, we see and experience God’s work. Moreover, when we have deep fellowship with God and pursue together with brothers and sisters, we will know God more and more, and our faith and love towards Him will also be stronger and stronger.

Our faith towards God is shown when we desire Him, pray to Him, rely on Him, trust in Him, draw near to Him and obey Him.

We should often draw near to God, both on our own and together with brothers and sisters. We should often read His word and pour out our hearts to Him. Doing so will deepen our relationship with the Lord. When we know Him, be face to face with Him and draw near to Him, our spirits will be strengthened and glorious. Moreover, by faith we enjoy the Lord’s providence, overcome the world, march forward and do great things! (Heb. 11)

2. Love

Love is the greatest! To love God and men are our greatest and ultimate goal. When we rely on the Lord and draw near to Him, we have His love, which is unselfish and unconditional. This love brings forth various desirable attribute and labour of love. However, we need to continuously learn to love with wisdom and knowledge. Also, we need to equip ourselves so that we can grow up and be trained up in different aspects.

3. Hope

Through God’s Word, we know the mystery of God, men and the universe. We also know the second coming of the Lord Jesus and the glorious eternal plan of God. Thus, we can be full of hope for the days ahead. We see the meaning of life, for we know our days on earth will affect our eternity. We know that in the Lord, our toil will not be in vain. As we have hope, we can have perseverance. We can smile at the storms and dark valleys, and face all sufferings with joy.

We believe in the resurrection of the body.

We are waiting for the second coming of our dear Lord and the sweet reunion in heaven.

We desire our better home, our Father’s home in heaven.

We hope for the new heavens and new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Come, Lord Jesus!

Appendix

Our goal

(Phil. 3:9-14)

Our goal is to gain Christ, enjoy His presence fully all our life, and experience His unsearchable riches. Also, we should be fully captured by Him so that His beautiful purpose and will can be completely accomplished on us.

The main points of our ministry

We involve ourselves fully in God’s will and man’s needs. Being of the same heart with God, we love others.

1. First, we draw near to the Lord, be of the same heart with Him and work with Him through our prayers so that we can experience the work of the Holy Spirit even more.

2. Seeing the sins and sufferings of the world, we have a zealous heart to love and help others. We preach the gospel to the whold world so that people can come out of darkness and enter the marvelous light, becoming the children of God.

We preach the gospel to all tribes, all tongues, all peoples and all nations.

3. We preach the unsearchable riches of Christ and bring people back perfect before the Lord. Also, we shepherd and raise up brothers and sisters so that they can become close friends of the Lord’s and blessings of others.

We lead brothers and sisters to live out church life, being in love and unity with one another.

4. We build the church, the glorious household of God that is after God’s heart, in all lands to prepare for the second coming of the Lord.

Christ and the church is the core of God’s will, our greatest treasure and eternal desire!

Our motivation

Our motivation comes from the glorious Holy Spirit, and God’s love for us and others.

From the following two hymns, we can see how deep an encouragement and how great a motivation we gain from the Lord’s love.

“The Lord’s Personal Love to Me”

 His personal love to me,

Pure, undying to the end.

Great floods cannot quench it;

Time, ev’n years, can’t make it fade,

Withstands various trials and tests;

It never fails my heart to gain.

His personal love to me,

Is my drive through all my life.

When I’m despaired, His love comforts me;

His love overcomes all things.

Rich, colourful, tender and soft,

I’ll boast of His love forever.

His personal love to me,

Sweet and warm and gives me hope,

Shares in my life’s sorrows and joy,

Gives me courage and gives me faith,

Fills my heart like a living spring,

In His bosom may I e’er stay!

His personal love to me,

Makes the angels admire, amaze.

Deeper than the sea, higher than the sky,

His love paves my path of life.

Grace upon grace I can’t number,

Beyond compare, no else to find.

“Such Love as Yours”

Such love as Yours, makes me know the true worth in me;

Such love as Yours, makes me see the beauty of all things.

Life is full of meaning, worth well to live.

Then I understand why there’s eternity,

And I know why, Your desire is to abide in me.

Such love as Yours, gives me rest in days dim or bright;

Such love as Yours, makes me live in tender morning light,

Gives me hope to run my course with delight.

Thorns and swords I conquer overwhelmingly.

Lord, in Your love, there is never fear but sweetness only.

Such love as Yours, teaches me what beauty really means;

Such love as Yours, teaches me to praise and to give thanks.

Turns me into a poet, a morning bird;

Melts me into a river, vast and flood’d with love,

Ever flowing, towards the earth’s end, till eternity.

Such love as Yours, abounds in deeds, warmth and thoughts so deep;

Such love as Yours, keeps my spirit alive, ever-fresh,

Cheering me to climb up the highest peak,

Blowing me to sail towards the boundless sea,

Ever love You, follow You to the corners of the world.

Such love as Yours, makes me long for the heavenly home;

Such love as Yours, makes me long to see Your glorious face;

O Lord Jesus, may You come, may You come!

In the Holy City of light and love we live,

Sharing with You, endless songs and mornings eternally.
