“Phone Sing” Worship Team 齊來拜一拜 Testimonials #1

我們渴慕「與主心連過今年」，同伴時光或 Team Time 都是我們很大的助力。最近疫情嚴峻，主使我們利用問題，設計、安排“Phone Sing” Worship Team 齊來拜一拜。在首週(三月十六至二十日)實行以來, 全教會各組反應熱烈，大得幫助，以下是少部份参加弟兄姊妹的心聲分享：(按：不少弟兄姊妹是天天參予，也有不少在一天內參予超過一個時段。) Thank God I can join many groups of phone sing worship teams each day. I feel very uplifted and nourished each time. Also, I enjoy and treasure that I can have fellowship with brothers and sisters of different groups. Alice Jiang I enjoyed being able to worship over the phone with brothers and sisters from all different groups each morning. This gave me comfort and encouragement to face the difficult times at work every day during the pandemic. Hi, I’m Michelle, and this year I got the opportunity to visit the Philippines for the AP camp. During this camp, I gained and experience many things that I could not experience in Vancouver. One of the things I gained is how to be more independent. For example, washing my own clothes. Heman Ho During the camp in the Philippines, I enjoyed having fellowship and partner time with brothers and sisters. I see how much the world needs God. He is the only one that can be with us always. After this camp I feel like I want to give myself to God. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Christmas holidays morning team

Wai Ying Thank God we made good use of Marine Drive meeting place during the holidays! Both parents and their children had their personal time and team time these two weeks. I was glad that the environment helped the parents to enjoy time having fellowship with the Lord and with one another. The children learned how to direct their attention to God; they help themselves to be more focused. Some even improved by taking up the task in helping others to draw near to God. Sharon Zhou 當聽到有morning team時很開心，因為兒子可以跟同伴一起，也有姐姐陪伴親近主；但是也想到難處，因為自己帶著幾個月大的BB，還有自己兩個兒子和姐姐的兩個女兒，一共五個孩子，實在不容易。我只管跟主表達自己的心願，最後很感恩能成功參與。珍貴可以與弟兄姊妹一起到主面前，而且是在一天的開始，早晨這樣親近神對自己的幫助很大，特別是唱詩敬拜和讀經，使我深深感受神的體恤、明白和了解。大兒子Haydrian很喜歡參加team，他讀聖經也進步了。以往我叫他一起讀聖經時，他會推辭，總是想著去玩，現在他很願意跟我一起讀聖經。筱娟長達兩週的假期對家長來說是很不容易過的，因為孩子們在不用上學期間是很難起床，很容易浪費時間，生活鬆散的問題更大。感恩有疼愛他們的哥哥姐姐願意出錢出力，為他們預備早餐，邀請他們來一起親近主。兒子在第一天team後，很渴慕地問我何時可以再去，我回答他，明天就再去了。孩子們親近主，家長們也一起親近主，我很久沒有參加早上的team了，假期有這樣的機會實在很享受。 Karen 參加morning team，我有回到中學時代的感覺，能與弟兄姊妹一起親近主，享受的時光過得特別快，當中唱詩敬拜和相交都很豐富，很幫助自己去享受主，彼此相交也很得幫助和被燃點。 Kathy 這個降生節，我和孩子們都過得很充實，因為孩子和家長都有morning team。在team中，我們一起讀完了路得記和約拿書。與弟兄姊妹一起讀聖經與自己讀很不同，透過相交，使我更清晰和明白所讀的，也使我更了解和熟悉弟兄姊妹。

Two are better than one – Jannie Tang

I am very thankful to have good partners from church to support me. I have been struggling to exercise regularly for many years. Recently, however, I have a sister to exercise with me every week. I can wake up earlier on those days and take time to talk to God more. When I am more motivated in the start of the day, my whole day is better.

I read Psalm 5 with my sisters and I came to know more about David – his heart for God, and that he was on God’s side. He trusted in God’s faithfulness. I thought about where I am standing in God’s plan. I see my appearance in His time line. I am on God’s side and certain enough, my name is in the Book of Life. My place with God in His kingdom is sure.

Closer to God & God’s family – Joanna Zhao (Grade 7)

We had a 2-day sleepover at Tuhien’s place. At the sleepover I got to learn more about one another. We laughed together and bonded with one another more. Moreover, I got to worship the Lord and the Father more. I then truly understood and realized that the Lord and the Father love me with all their heart and that they would do anything to gain me back. God’s True Love – Chloe Huang (Grade 5)

For the past 2 days I had a sleep over at Tuhien’s house with other sisters. We really got to bond, laugh, and learn more about each other. Developed good habit during gap time – Tuhien Trieu

Recently I have developed a good habit which I’d heard of for a long time. During team worship, whenever someone choose a song to sing, during the gap time or waiting time, I would look at the Lord and talk to Him. It helps me to be in the presence of God continually. I feel closer to Him throughout the team time. Now it has become a habit and it also has carried throughout the day.
