去年降生節，我爸爸（唐保俤，83歲）因細菌感染送往急診，醫護團隊進行搶救後，送往深切治療部留院觀察，後證實是極惡性的腦膜炎病毒的一種。病危中，我姐姐從香港致電病床邊慰問，並以詩篇第廿三篇鼓勵我爸爸，大能的牧者必領他經過死蔭的幽谷，但我爸卻以詩篇第一〇三篇回應：「我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華……」
感謝神，聽了我們的禱告，現在他恢復的很好，（見相片），他也參加了本年3月15日為非洲及孤兒籌款的步行活動。「我……不可忘記祂的一切恩惠，……祂救我的命免了死亡。」

Bless the Lord, O my soul; Who redeems my life from destruction!
My father got a very serious virus infection last December. He was admitted to emergency and then sent to ICU for a few days. Health team worked so hard and couldn’t find the cause for low blood pressure, fatigue and a lot of pain over the body. I remembered the very night at ICU, my sister called form oversea and wanted to comfort him with Psalm 23 (the Lord will walk him through the valley of the shadow of death), but my father responded her with Psalm 103: Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy name! I was at the bed side and felt much uplifted and amazed at my father’s faith and his sound mind even he was at great pain and life threatening situation.
Yes, he is right. Bless the Lord. In about three weeks, he was discharged from hospital on 27th of December. This was such a memorable Christmas for him.
He has been recovering so well that he decided to join the St Patrick’s Day run for Africa. (Please see picture.) He offered his thanksgiving by raising money for the orphans and remembering God cares for the needy.
